The Amann Company was established in 1969 and developed over the course of time from a "small operation" into one of the most renowned dealers of machine tools in Germany.
In 1988, we moved into our present workshop and office space on the north edge of Munich. Over 500 modern used machine tools exhibited on 5000 m² of space are available for our customers to choose from. This expansion also enabled us to supply the up-and-coming Asian market with machine tools. Through the implementation of other structural measures, our turnover could be increased by 12 % in the last few years. The number of personnel increased commensurately by more than 60% during this time period.
In order to keep up with the continuously growing demand for used capital equipment, the Amann Werkzeugmaschinen GmbH and the AIV Industrievertretung GmbH merged in 2001. Through this joint venture and the resulting synergetic effects, we are now able to offer our international and regional customers not only a wide range of used machine tools, but also brand new equivalents.
